August 23 - Arrive Cartagena (Day 1)

We enjoy our welcome reception and transfer from the International Airport of Cartagena to our hotel- Estelar Cartagena De Indias and overnight.

August 24 - Cartagena (Days 2)

Divas will enjoy a Full Day Tour to "Isla Del Encanto" A Divas Day at the Beach and Horse-drawn Carriage Ride and Dinner. 

Breakfast and transfer to start a full day tour to “Isla del Encanto”, this tour includes transportation on speedboat to the Rosario´s Islands National Park. “Isla del Encanto” is located at south of the Bay of Cartagena, there you´ll enjoy coral beaches and variety of fauna of the reef, ideal for relaxing and swimming. Return to Cartagena and transfer to the hotel.


Horse-drawn carriage ride and dinner

At the start of the night, one of our representatives will pick us up at the hotel to take us for a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. During the tour we will be passing by the narrow streets of the city to see the elegant houses and balconies of more than 400 years adorned with flowers. After the ride, we will be taken for a dinner at one of the best restaurants in Cartagena to try the traditional dishes that have been present this city for centuries. Return to the hotel.

August 25- Cartagena (Day 3) 

City Tour & Bay tour With Dinner

After Breakfast, at the agreed time, one of our representatives will pick us up at the hotel to take us on a tour around Cartagena de Indias. The tour starts at the modern neighborhoods of Bocagrande and Manga, where we see the contrast between modern architecture and the beauty of the old houses from the twentieth century. Then, we will visit the Castle where the Spaniards sought to protect the city from the attacks of the English in the seventeenth century, “El Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas”.  At the end, we will walk around the historic downtown, visiting the San Pedro Claver Church and then the Emerald museum.  Return to the hotel.

Bay tour With Dinner

We will transfer to the pier to have a night aboard a comfortable boat, enjoying a beautiful view of the bay of Cartagena while we enjoy a delicious dinner.

Includes: 2 hours aboard, dinner with entrance, main course, dessert and two glasses of wine, service, music, WiFi aboard. Transfers hotel – pier - hotel (Does not include premium drinks or cocktails)

August 26 -Cartagena (Day 4)

Getemani Tour with Rum and Chocolate Tasting and our Professional Guide and Dancing to the Tune of Salsa in Cartagena

At the time set, we will be transferred from the hotel to the area of the Getsemaní neighborhood, one of the most traditional and popular sectors of the city. There, we will start a panoramic guided walk of approximately 45 minutes through this iconic neighborhood. At the end of the walk, we will visit a bar of the area where a mixologist will welcome us and provide the guidelines for a rum tasting. This will consist of paring 8 types of rums of the Colombian culture, accompanied by chocolate from our land. To be continued with the Salsa Class.

Dancing to the Tune of Salsa in Cartagena

After the Getsemani Tour with Rum and chocolate tasting, we will start a guided panoramic tour of 1 hour approximately.  At the end, we will be dropped at a dancing academy where an instructor will introduce us on tropical rhythms of the region.

August 27 - Cartagena (Day 5)

Divas Cooking in "La Heroica" and Tour along the Mangroves

Breakfast at hotel. At the time set, we will be transferred from the hotel the farmers’ market of Cartagena (Plaza de Mercado de Cartagena), an autochthonous place where we will find the ingredients necessary to prepare the dishes that we will cook later on. After selecting and buying the necessary, we will be transferred to a restaurant of the walled city where we will attend a cooking class to learn to prepare a typical ceviche as appetizer and a coconut lemonade as the accompanying beverage. At the end transfer to Manzanillo to have the tour along the mangroves.

Tour along the mangroves

One of our representatives will pick you where you have your cooking class to take you on a short trip to the town of Manzanillo, a fishing village where you will board a wooden canoe, led by a native from the region. You will be taken on a ride along the Cienaga in which you will be able to observe a different kind of flora and fauna while going through the tunnels formed by the mangrove forest.


August 28 - Cartagena (Day 6)

Silver Plate and Emerald Classes and our Farewell dinner at “El Santisimo” Restaurant

Breakfast at hotel. At the time set, one of our representatives will pick us up at our hotel to start a panoramic tour of the city with a stop for pictures at El Castillo de San Felipe. At the end, we will go to a jewelry workshop where we will learn about the history of Colombian mining and jewelry, and start a practical class where we will learn how to make 4 pieces of jewelry of which we may keep one for you.  Transfer to the hotel.

At according time transfer from our hotel to “El Santísmo” Restaurant to have dinner. Transfer back to your hotel.

August 29 - Cartagena (Days 7)

Its time to say Goodbye but we will return. Pick-up and transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight back to the US.
